Donations Policy

The main purpose of the Friends of Warrnambool Botanic Gardens is the preservation and promotion of our heritage-listed gardens.  To this end the Friends act as an advisory body to and liaison with the Warrnambool City Council in respect of the Gardens.  The Friends also raise funds and organise support for the development and maintenance of the Gardens.  The Friends actively promote the Gardens and seek to educate and inform both locals and visitors about the Gardens.

The Friends of Warrnambool Botanic Gardens welcomes donations and guarantees that any allocation of funds will be made in accordance with the established purposes of the organisation and not be influenced by the preference of the donor. The organisation will not pass a donation of money or property to other organisations, bodies or persons as a condition of a donation.

You may also consider leaving a gift to the Friends of Warrnambool Botanic Gardens in your will.  By leaving a bequest you can help ensure that the Gardens are preserved and valued into the future.  If you choose to support us through a gift in your will please tell us so that we can recognise and thank you for your generosity.
